This eBook of Managerial Economics: Economics for Business and Management is primarily prepared as a basic and quick reference for undergraduate students of UiTM.  The scope of this study integrates the microeconomics theories with business practice.  It contains the basic microeconomics theories, explanations, illustration, and problem-solving that business entities and/or managers always come across in running their activities. The key areas discussed in this book include the introduction and significance of the subject; demand, revenue and elasticity; supply and its’ elasticity, production and cost theories, market structure and pricing strategies. This eBook is different from others with the same title, as it concentrates on problem-solving using mathematical and statistical tools. It is written in simple English and in a format that is easy for learners to understand the purpose of each chapter. Formulas and important points are also highlighted to emphasize their significance. Examples of problem-solving are also included to reinforce students’ understanding.
